A district is a geographical unit containing the right number of groups — right in terms of the committee member’s ability to keep in frequent touch with them, to learn their problems, and to find ways to contribute to their growth and well-being.(The A.A. The Northeastern Maryland Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous services an area of Maryland that includes Districts 11, 28, 29, and 30.

District 11 holds monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the North East Methodist Church on Church Street in North East.

District 11 boundaries: All of Cecil County

 

District 28/29 holds monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Harford County Library, on Pennsylvania,  in Bel Air.

District 28 boundaries: North: Pennsylvania Line; East: Rte. 136 to Intersection of Rte. 22; South: A line from the intersection of Routes 136 and 22 to the Intersection of Route 1 and the Baltimore County Line, then along Rte. 1 to Zip Code 21236, then along Zip Codes 21236 and 21234 to Route 146; West: Rte. 146

District 29 boundaries: North: Intersection of Zip Code 21236 and Route 1, then follow Route 1 to Baltimore County line, then a line Northwest to the Intersections of Routes 136 & 22. East: Route 136 extended to the Bush River. South: Chesapeake Bay West: Zip Codes 21236, 21237 and 21220

District 30 holds monthly meetings on the second Monday of every month at 7:00pm at Grove Presbyterian Church, 50 E. Bel Air Ave in Aberdeen, MD.

District 30 boundaries: North: Pennsylvania State Line; East: Cecil County Line; South: Chesapeake Bay; West: Route 136 extended to Bush River.
